Terms of Use
Agreement
By using Pathium, you agree to this Terms of Use summary, the Privacy Policy, and Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs your license to use the app as distributed through the App Store.
Not medical advice
Pathium is for general fitness and informational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Workouts, programs, timers, heart-rate readings, calorie estimates, and other outputs are not a substitute for a qualified healthcare provider.
- Consult your doctor before beginning any exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, take medication, or have any concern about exercising safely.
- Stop immediately and seek medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest discomfort, or any other symptom while exercising.
Assumption of risk
Physical exercise carries inherent risks, including serious injury or death. Activities involving the outdoors, GPS routes, heat or cold exposure, breath-holding, or high intensity carry additional risks. You voluntarily assume all risks from your use of the app and any activity you perform with it.
Accuracy of data
Measurements and estimates — heart rate, distance, pace, elevation, steps, cadence, flights, calories, and routes — may be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable. Calorie figures without a connected wearable are estimates. Do not rely on the app for any safety-critical or medical purpose, including navigation.
Your content
You own the content you create. Because it's stored on your device and/or your iCloud, you are responsible for backing it up — Settings → Data & Backup can help. We are not responsible for any loss of content.
If you're under 18
If you are a minor, please have a parent or guardian review this Terms of Use and confirm any exercise program is appropriate for you before using the app.
The legal terms
This page summarizes how to use Pathium safely. The binding legal agreement for your use of the app — including warranty disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute resolution — is Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula), which applies automatically since we haven't submitted a custom End User License Agreement to the App Store.
