Nourish (Food, Hydration & Fasting)

Log meals, water, and fasting windows, and see how today stacks up against your goals.

The Nourish dashboard

Track → Nourish stacks four cards, each with a ring, a 7-day chart, and a one-line insight:

  • HYDRATION — today's total against your goal, split by drink (Water, Coffee, and so on).
  • FASTING — your current fast's elapsed time and stage, plus your best streak and average fast.
  • Calories — today's calories against your goal, with a log-your-first-meal prompt until you have eaten.
  • NUTRITION — Protein, Carbs, Fat, and Fiber against their targets.

Below the cards, TODAY'S ACTIVITY groups everything you have logged by Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snacks, Hydration, and Fasting, each with its own Log row. History (top right of that section) opens your full history filtered to Food.

  • Tap + → Add Hydration, Add Food, or Start Fast (Stop Fast if one is running) to log something directly.
  • Tap a card to open its full screen.

Logging food

Tap the Calories or Nutrition card, or + → Add Food, to open Food. At the top, a ring shows today's calories split by Protein, Carbs, Fat, and Fiber against your targets.

Below that are the ways to log a meal:

  • AI Meal Logging — tap Describe to type what you ate, or Photo to snap it. On a device that supports Apple's meal analysis (iOS 27), you get an editable nutrition estimate to review before anything is saved. Food AI Options lets you use your own provider key instead. If your device does not support it, the buttons are dimmed and you can still log by hand.
  • Find Food — search a food database by name.
  • Scan Barcode — scan a packaged food's barcode.
  • Log Manually — fill in the entry yourself.
  • Meals — saved combinations of foods you can log in one tap.

TODAY'S MEALS lists what you have logged, with calories and P (protein), C (carbs), and F (fat). Tap one to edit it.

Logging a meal by hand

  1. Tap Log Manually.
  2. Enter a Name, pick the Meal (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, or Snack — it suggests one for the time of day), and adjust Logged if it was earlier.
  3. Add a Serving note such as 1 bowl, then Calories, Protein, Carbohydrates, Fat, and Fiber.
  4. Tap Save.
Log Food. FREQUENT lists your recent foods for one-tap repeats.

Logging hydration

Tap the Hydration card, or + → Add Hydration. The Hydration screen shows today's total against your goal (set in Settings → Daily Goals), your last 7 days, and QUICK ADD presets.

  • Tap a preset — Glass (+8 oz), Bottle (+16 oz), Coffee (+12 oz), or Tea (+12 oz) — to log it at once.
  • Tap the pencil on a preset to edit it. The same presets appear on the Hydration widgets.
  • Use Custom Add for a specific amount or drink type.
  • Each drink type counts toward the ring in its own color, so a coffee does not look like water.

Fasting

Tap the Fasting card, or + → Start Fast. The Fasting screen shows a ring with your elapsed time against your target. While you fast it names your current stage, with a short explanation and how long until the next one.

  • Edit Start Time corrects the time you actually began, if you forgot to start the fast.
  • End Fast stops it and saves it to your history.
  • STAGE TIMELINE shows the stages and where you are in them: Fed State, Early Fasting, Fat Burning, Ketosis, Growth Hormone, and Autophagy.
  • FASTING TARGET lets you pick a ratio plan — Beginner (12:12 to 15:9), Intermediate (16:8 to 19:5), or Advanced (20:4 to 23:1) — a circadian plan that runs from sunset to sunrise (or the reverse), or a Custom length. Swipe a row of plans sideways to see them all.
A fast in progress: the ring, the current stage, and the stage timeline.
