Explore & Saved Places

Discover trails, bike routes, ski resorts, mountains, and beaches near you or anywhere in the world.

Searching

  1. Move → Explore opens to a category already selected — Trails by default, or whichever you picked last time.
  2. Switch categories any time: Trails, Biking, Ski & Snowboard, Mountains, or Beaches. The chips scroll sideways.
  3. Type a city, state, or place in the search field, or tap Search Current Location.
  4. Once results appear, use the Search Radius row to widen or narrow the area (5–100 mi, or Whole State).
  • A line under the search field says where the results are centered; Use My Location jumps back to where you are.
  • Results show as numbered pins on the map and as a list below. Nearby pins group into one numbered cluster until you zoom in.
  • Each row shows the name, what it is (for example Hiking), and the distance from the search point.
  • Trail and ski rows have a bookmark button to save the place and a map button that opens its trail map.
Explore before a search. The bookmark button opens Saved Places.

Saved Places

The bookmark icon in the search bar opens Saved Places — everything you've saved, grouped by category, with an offline-sync status on each row.

  • Saved offline — ready to use with no signal.
  • Not yet downloaded / Couldn't save offline — tap the row to retry.
  • Swipe a saved place to Delete or Share it.
